Welcome to TRUCKDAS

The project TRUCKDAS Innovation of distributed driver assistance systems for a commercial vehicles platform started in 2009 to implement certain active safety and driver assistance systems on commercial vehicle platform. The functions have existed theoretically for a long time and in some upper-class passenger cars practically as well for some years. Commercial vehicles dynamics is far more complex than the ones of passenger cars, therefore the extension of the functions for these vehicle classes was not possible till now. Important goal of the project is to achieve the desired decrease in the number of accidents even under demanding economical conditions and operating circumstances through the new driver assistance functions.
